1/19 Artists of the Month

At our January meeting, we selected our first Artists of the Month. Artists who wished to participate each brought a piece to enter, artist’s names were hidden with tape, all the pieces were then displayed, and the membership voted by secret ballot on their choices for first, second and third places.

Congratulations go out to Dave Goodwin, the first ever MAA Artist of the Month, for "Golden Girl” (photography), which is now on display at the Hilltop Bicycle Center on Main Street in Downtown Mansfield.

Patti Wilkinson received Runner-up, 2nd Place for her oil painting “Fall’s Glory” which is on display at the Hearth Cafe (in the Tom Thumb shopping center at Hwy 287 and Country Club Rd).

Mary Norris placed 3rd for her mixed media painting, “The Old Mill Stream”  which may be viewed at the Paisley Grace Boutique on N. Main Street.

We will be issuing press releases shortly to the Star Telegram and Mansfield Magazine.
